Snapdragon 665 vs Snapdragon 675 CPU & GPU

CPU

In the case of CPU, Snapdragon 665 got an Octa-Core CPU which is based on 64-bit architecture. It has the company's own Kryo 260 cores. Kryo 260 cores include 4 Cortex-A73 Cores running at 2GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 Cores operating at 1.8GHz. While Snapdragon 675 also features an Octa-Core CPU which is also based on 64-bit architecture. It has Kryo 460 cores which include 2 Cortex-A76 powerful cores clocked at 2GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 Cores operating at 1.6GHz. Here the Snapdragon 675 wins easily having better CPU cores with almost same clock speed.

GPU

Speaking of GPU, Snapdragon 665 features Adreno 610 GPU for graphical tasks while Snapdragon 675 got the Adreno 612 GPU. As its name suggests it is an upgrade over Adreno 610 of Snapdragon 665. So having an upgraded GPU, here also Snapdragon 675 is ahead over Snapdragon 665 chipset.

Manufacturing Process

Talking about the manufacturing process. Snapdragon 665 works on the 11nm manufacturing process while Snapdragon 675 works also work on the 11nm manufacturing process. In this section, there is no difference between both chipsets, both are power efficient chipsets.

Camera

Speaking of the camera department, here Snapdragon 665 got the company's own Spectra 165 ISP which can allow it to support up to 25MP single camera and dual camera up to 16MP with MFNR and ZSL. Without MFNR and ZSL, it can support up to a 48MP single camera sensor.

On the other hand, Snapdragon 675 features Spectra 250L ISP which is a 14-bit 2x Image Signal Processor. This ISP can support a single camera up to 25MP at 30fps with MFNR and ZSL. By compromising with ZSL it can go up to 48MP and up to 192MP by compromising with MFNR and ZSL. In terms of dual camera, it can support up to 16MP dual camera sensor at 30fps with MFNR and ZSL.

In this case, also Snapdragon 675 has improved ISP which supports better camera sensors. So here also Snapdragon 675 is better chipset over Snapdragon 665.

Snapdragon 665 vs Snapdragon 675 Artificial Intelligence

Nowadays the trend and use of AI is growing day-by-day. AI helps to perform the phone better. For AI tasks, Snapdragon 675 got Qualcomm Hexagon 685 DSP which helps it to perform better.

While Snapdragon 665 has Qualcomm Hexagon 686 DSP which is an upgrade over Hexagon 685 DSP of Snapdragon 675. So in AI tasks, Snapdragon 665 will perform slightly better compared to Snapdragon 675 having better DSP but not huge.
